Since 2007, the UAB National Alumni Society has hosted its annual Scholarship Run each spring. The annual run — for alumni, friends and the public — is an opportunity to further student success and enhance students’ college experience. So far, the run has raised $930,000 to help support student scholarships.

Participants can blaze their way and run anywhere they want — it is your course, so it is up to you. The NAS will still have options for a 5K and 10K, along with a non-running option. The course can be flat, fast, brutal with hills, completed on a treadmill or not at all.

Early-bird registration is $30 until March 11; $35 March 12-April 21; $40 April 22-24. Register online. Complete the distance you registered for and log your time through the RunSignUp website. Each participant will get a race T-shirt and a finisher medal. The last day to secure your race T-shirt size is April 8. Visit alumni.uab.edu for more information.
